Three new Covid-19 cases recorded in Irbid, says governor
Governor of Irbid, Chairman of the Executive Committee for Covid-19 Crisis Cell Management, Radwan Atoum, announced on Sunday, that three new Covid-19 cases were recorded to contacts of a lawyer and a 60-year-old woman, who had previously been declared infected.
In a press statement to “Petra,” the new infections involve 2 contacts to the sexagenary woman and 1 lawyer contact.
Isolation procedures will be implemented immediately for the residential buildings, where the newly infected people live, in the northern governorate, he pointed out.
Meanwhile, epidemiological investigation teams have begun to collect samples from first-class contacts of the new infected cases, he noted.
