The German Jordanian University strengthens its partnership with the University of Würzburg-Schweinfurt

The President of the German Jordanian University, Dr. Alaa Al-Din Al-Halhouli, and the President of the German Würzburg University of Applied Sciences, Dr. Robert Graebner, signed a memorandum of understanding to build a strategic partnership between the two sides and enhance cooperation in the fields of academic programs, international projects, scientific research, leadership and innovation.

According to a statement from the university, today, Saturday, Dr. Al-Halhouli and Dr. Greebner expressed their pride in the bilateral relations between the two universities and aspiration to deepen them through the memorandum of understanding.

He pointed out that the University of Würzburg-Schweinfurt is an applied international university by offering dual academic programs in German and English. Over the past years, it has received hundreds of students from the German Jordanian University in their fourth year of study, and in return sent a large number of its German students to spend a semester in Jordan. In addition to the exchange of members of the teaching and administrative staff within the cultural exchange program between them.

The statement pointed to the cooperation of the two universities in developing joint curricula, building capacities and exchanging experiences in scientific projects and research, and “Erasmus Mundus” projects in partnership with universities from Finland, Romania and Norway.
