Tangible drop in temperatures, heavy rainfall forecast for today

A tangible drop in temperatures is forecast, on Friday, with heavy rainfall nationwide, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.

Winds could reach 90 kilometers per hour, stirring dust in some parts of the Kingdom, the JMD added.

As for tomorrow, similar weather conditions are expected, with a chance of flash floods in low-lying areas.

Temperatures in Amman are forecast to see a high of 14 degrees Celsius during the day and a low of 8 degrees at night.

Temperatures in Aqaba are forecast to reach a high of 24 degrees during the day and a low of 15 degrees during the night, the JMD said.
