Sunny, warm conditions forecast Wednesday, hot over weekend
Sunny, warm and spring- like weather is forecast to prevail on Wednesday across many parts of the country during daytime, while at night, it will be relatively cold in the hilly areas and the desert region, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman and the northern cities will reach 24 degrees Celsius dropping down to 12 and 10 respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs jumping to 33 degrees and lows standing at 17, the JMD added.
A hot air mass accompanied with southeasterly moderate winds originating from the Arabian Peninsula will start affecting the Kingdom over the next two days pushing temperatures 10 degrees above their annual average. Therefore, relatively hot weather will prevail across many parts of the country, while it will be warm in the hilly areas and desert region, the JMD said further.
