Spring, warm weather ahead for three days
A slight drop in mercury levels is expected on Tuesday, but they will remain above their annual average creating spring and warm conditions across the Kingdom until Wednesday with northwesterly moderate winds, according to Jordan Metrological Department (JMD).
Daytime temperatures forecast for today in Amman and the northern cities will hover around 26 degrees Celsius dropping down at night to 10 and 13 respectively . The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 33 degrees and lows standing at 16, the JMD added.
Mercury levels will slightly rise on Thursday, but similar warm weather will continue in hilly areas and the Badia regions, while it will be relatively hot in other parts of the Kingdom. Winds will be southeasterly moderate to brisk, blowing dust at times in the Badia regions, the JMD added further.
