Senate President, Faisal Fayez, discussed separately on Sunday, with a number of friendly countries’ ambassadors to Jordan, ways to strengthen cooperation aspects in various fields.
The meetings, which brought together ambassadors of Turkey, Ismail Aramaz, Norway, Espen Lindback, and Pakistan, Sajjad Ali Khan, went over the region’s current issues, especially with regard to the Syrian crisis and the Palestinian cause.
In this regard, Fayez underlined Jordan’s “firm” stances towards various regional issues and the “remarkable” efforts made by His Majesty King Abdullah II to end conflicts and enable its peoples to live in security and stability.
Fayez valued the “high” level of Jordanian relations with friendly countries, stressing the importance of strengthening them in various fields, especially in political, economic and investment areas.
The envoys, for their part, lauded Jordan’s “key” role, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, in achieving peace in the region and restoring security and stability to the Middle East.
Stressing pride in their countries’ relations with Jordan and their keenness to develop them in various fields, the diplomats highlighted the importance of strengthening joint economic and investment partnership, the need to increase trade exchange, and activate bilateral agreements to serve common interests.
