Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Meets with Executive Secretary of UN Convention to Combat Desertification

Riyadh: Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, cabinet member, and Envoy for Climate Affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir met Monday in Riyadh with the executive secretary of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification, Ibrahim Thiaw. During the meeting on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum's special meeting, the two sides discussed international developments on environmental protection and combating desertification and the Kingdom's efforts and initiatives in this regard.
