Cairo: Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi said at the 159th session of the Council of the Arab League there is a “need” to stop Israeli actions that undermine peace and efforts to launch negotiations to end the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian Territories based on the two-state solution.
Safadi talked about the Jordanian initiative to solve the Syrian crisis through direct Arab engagement with the Syrian government to gradually address its humanitarian, security and political consequences.
Safadi discussed in separate meetings with the Somali, Egyptian, Saudi, Bahraini, Iraqi Libyan, Kuwaiti and Qatari foreign ministers cooperation and the region.
