Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi, on Thursday, held a series of meetings with a number of his counterparts participating in the 77th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
Talks during the meetings covered bilateral relations, the latest developments in the Middle East region and efforts exerted to resolve crises and grappling its humanitarian repercussions, according to a ministry statement.
The meetings, according to the statement, included the foreign ministers of Morocco, Nasser Bourita, Moldova, Nicu Popescu and Finland Pekka Haavisto.
