Russian defense denies killing one of its soldiers in the Syrian Idlib
Moscow, The Russian Defense Ministry denied reports that a Russian soldier was killed in the de-escalation zone in Syria’s Idlib.
“There are no Russian checkpoints in the area of de-escalation in Idlib,” the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement on Thursday.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia supports the Syrian army’s efforts to contain the terrorist threat in Idlib province.
