Russia’s COVID-19 response centre has recorded the highest daily COVID-19 fatalities, with 786 deaths recorded Wednesday, taking the death toll to 145,278.
The Coronavirus Control Centre said more than 23,820 people tested positive for the highly contagious respiratory disease, as the caseload hovers around 5.57.
