PM urges public to avoid panic-buying, says food stockpile sufficient

Prime Minister Omar Razzaz on Sunday urged the public to refrain from panic-buying of foodstuffs and said the Kingdom has sufficient supply of food and medicines.

In a voice message, the prime minister said citizens should not stockpile foodstuffs that expire soon, adding that the travel ban the government announced yesterday does not include commercial fright.

Razzaz called on citizens to adhere to preventive and precautionary measures taken by the government to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the most prominent of which is avoiding gatherings and crowded places.
