PM leaves for Switzerland to attend WEF 2020
Prime Minister Omar Razzaz, Tuesday, left for Davos, Switzerland, heading a Jordanian delegation to attend the annual summit of the World Economic Forum (WEF) that will see the participation of heads of state and government, heads of institution, international companies and businessmen.
Razzaz, deputizing for His Majesty King Abdullah II, will partake in a special session on Wednesday morning entitled “Geopolitical Prospects for the Region of the Middle East and North Africa,” which will be chaired by Borge Brende, president of the WEF.
Razzaz is slated to hold bilateral meetings with a number of high-ranking officials, representatives of international companies and heads of delegation partaking in the Forum.
A Royal Decree has been issued appointing Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, acting prime minister.
