Pleasant autumn weather conditions are expected to prevail in most parts of the Kingdom, except in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba where it will be moderate, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday.
At night, the weather will turn to be cooler nationwide, with clouds appearing at medium and high altitudes, and northwesterly to southeasterly moderate winds picking up at times, the JMD added.
On Thursday, a slight drop in mercury levels is forecast, but similar weather conditions will continue to persist, with clouds at various altitudes and northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD noted.
The highs in Amman and other highlands across the Kingdom Tuesday will range between 21 and 19 degrees Celsius, dropping at night to 13C or even 9C in the southern highlands. In the Gulf city of Aqaba, it will be warmer with mercury reaching a high of 29C and a low of 17C.
