Petra, Orange Jordan discuss future cooperation
Amman, Director-General of the Jordan News Agency (Petra) Fayeg al-Hijazeen on Sunday discussed with Orange Jordan Chief Executive Thierry Marigny ways to expand cooperation between the agency and the telecom company.
During a meeting at Petra, Al-Hijazeen said the agency is working to develop its official website and smart phone application, with the aim of keeping pace with technological advancements, in addition to expanding its reach and delivering its media content to various target audiences.
He pointed out that the agency is committed to disseminating information professionally and objectively to various groups of society, by covering topics of concern to the citizen, adding that the agency works to ensure a broad coverage of state and private sector institutions.
Petra Director said the agency seeks, through its offices spread in various governorates of the Kingdom, and its correspondents in key Arab and international capitals, as well as its cadres in the main center, to keep the Jordanian citizen fully informed of various national, Arab and international issues.
In turn, Marigny expressed Orange’s pride in its cooperation with Petra, voicing the company’s readiness to expand the relationship with the agency to meet the common interests of the two sides.
