Participating in parliamentary elections “constitutional right”, “national duty”: Iftaa department

Amman, The Iftaa Department on Sunday called on citizens to partake on the upcoming parliamentary elections as a legitimate matter, a constitutional right, a national duty, and an integrity that the citizen should protect and perform properly, as it is a testimony that he will be asked about before God Almighty.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the department stressed the need to select strong and honest candidates.

The department confirmed that whoever elects the unworthy has betrayed God and His Messenger and has lost his integrity.

The Iftaa Department called for adhering to health instructions such as wearing masks and adhering to physical distancing during the election process, and taking all precautions and caution, to preserve the life and safety of all.
