Parliamentary association meets Georgian envoy

Amman, The Jordanian-Georgian Parliamentary Friendship Association, chaired by Mustafa Yaghi on Wednesday met with Georgia’s Ambassador to the Kingdom, Zaza Kandelaki.

During the meeting, Yaghi said bilateral relations are “strong,” adding they witnessed a “noticeable” improvement in various fields, especially in the investment, tourism and education fields.

The association’s members discussed the difficult circumstances Jordan is battling due to regional instability, stressing the Kingdom’s unwavering stance on the Palestinian cause as it is a central Arab and international issue.

For his part, Kandelaki underlined the importance of boosting Jordanian-Georgian ties, especially in the trade and economic fields, noting the two countries share similar views on issues of common interest.
