Palestinians injured in clashes with Israeli soldiers in Jenin

Ramallah, Dozens of Palestinian citizens early Tuesday were wounded and suffered suffocation in clashes with Israeli occupation forces in Yamoun town, west of the West Bank city of Jenin, during which a Palestinian youth, Ahmed Jarrar was killed.

According to a statement by the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS), the occupation troops Tuesday dawn stormed the town and deployed dozens of military vehicles and started searching for Jarrar.

Violent clashes erupted between Palestinian youths and Israeli soldiers, who used live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas canisters, leaving dozens of the citizens injured and suffocated.

Education ministry in Jenin announced disruption of studying in Yamoun’s schools because of the ongoing clashes, the PRCS added.
