In his response to the committee members’ comments and suggestions, Dudin explained that the government is positively perceiving constructive criticism with the aim of developing the performance of media institutions and enabling them to highlight the Palestinian cause, lauding the suggestions made by the committee members.

Dudin stressed keenness of state media institutions to highlight the Palestinian cause and Jerusalem, indicating that they will work to develop their programs and news bulletins to serve the Palestinian brothers and contribute to highlighting their just cause in addition to highlighting the cohesion between the Jordanian and Palestinian peoples and focusing on the important religious and historical events in the history of Jerusalem and the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The media minister further added that the state media institutions narrative is constantly highlighting practices and violations of the Israeli occupying forces practiced in violation of the international law and international legitimacy resolutions.

For his part, Director General of the Jordan News Agency (Petra), Fayeq Hijazin, said that “Petra” has intensively published stories related to the Palestinian cause and Jerusalem.

“Petra”, Hijazin added, worked to show the suffering of Palestinians in Jerusalem and Gaza as a result of the recent Israeli aggression, and highlight the official and public Jordanian position through Petra’s reporters in Ramallah and Gaza.

In addition, the agency coordinated with the Awqaf Ministry to keep abreast with any development on the ground, as well as covering every local and foreign activity related to Jerusalem and the holy sites.
