Oldest Jordanian in Irbid’s Al-Kourah dies at 106

The oldest Jordanian, Fatima Mahmoud Al-Hmoud, who lived in Ashrafiya town in Al-Kourah District, western Irbid, died on Sunday at the age of 106 years.

Her son, Hussein Bani Irshaid, told the Jordan News Agency (Petra), that his late mother and father (who also lived for 115 years and passed away in 2007) had 10 children, including 6 sons, two of whom died years ago, and one of her daughters died in her seventies 12 years ago, in addition to 120 grandchildren, both male and female.

Bani Irshaid added that his mother lived a long and free of any serious illness life and had very good memory, except for the last 4 months when she started to feel weak.
