Oil derivatives prices drop globally
Amman, Prices of oil derivatives in global markets have dropped
during the fourth week of April, according to data released on Monday by the
Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
According to the data, the price of 90-octane gasoline went down by 6.7 percent, going from $161.7 per ton in the third week to $150.9 in the fourth week, while the price of 95-octane gasoline declined from $170.5 per ton to $164.8, a decrease of 3.3 percent.
Diesel prices also tumbled by 15.7 percent going from $219.5 per ton to $185, while the prices of kerosene went from $184.9 to $134.9 per ton.
The prices of liquefied gas for April stood at $237.5 per ton.
In the fourth week of April, benchmark Brent crude prices went from $19.4 to $15.8 per barrel.
