Nukes do not target Seoul but US, North Korea says

North Korea said its nuclear weapons are not targeting no other country but the United States threat and its nuclear adventures, the official newspaper of the Workers’ Party Rodong Sinmun in Pyongyang reported on Wednesday.

No one would buy that North Korea possess intercontinental nuclear and ballistic missiles to strike our neighbor Seoul, which is very near, the newspaper added.

It said that the US claims that the North’s goal behind its nuclear arsenal is to reunite the two Koreas under the communist rule. Rodong Sinmun pointed out that some South Koreans consider the North’s nuclear power is a strategic asset to ensure peace in the peninsula, believing that security concern comes from the United States warmonger and not from the North’s weapons.
