No Covid-19 infections in Tafila: Health Directorate
Results of Covid-19 tests that was conducted for teachers in a school in the southern governorate of Tafila have all come back negative, the Tafila Health Directorate announced on Wednesday.
Teachers in the school were under the suspicion of being infected with the coronavirus, after that, the directorate’s staff took the necessary health measures by collecting pharyngeal and nasal samples, and the final results of samples testing were negative, head of Tafila Health Directorate, Khaled Khawaldeh said in a statement.
Random tests were conducted for about 6700 citizens since the start of the pandemic in various areas of the governorate, the results of which were negative, Khawaldeh added, stressing that the governorate is free of any Covid-19 infections.
pointed out that the areas of the governorate are subject to monitoring and follow-up by the relevant official bodies, while adhering to requirements and health protocols in public and private schools and institutions.
He indicated that the epidemiological investigation team continues conducting epidemiological surveys and tests in various areas of the governorate, calling on citizens to obtain information from its main source, that is the Health Ministry.
