NCET, ESARSV sign MoU to train veterans
The National Company for Employment and Training (NCET) and the Economic & Social Association of Retired Servicemen & Veterans (ESARSV) on Thursday signed a memorandum of cooperation aimed at implementing training programs to rehabilitate and improve the retired servicemen’s economic, and professional conditions.
The agreement, which was signed by the ESARSV’s Director, retired Major Gen.Talaj Thiabat, and the NCET’s head, Brigadier Gen. Abdul Salam Momani, aims to rehabilitate the veterans and their unemployed family memebers in “specialized professional” domains, particularly construction, industry, agriculture, and energy that serve the Kingdom’s various economic sectors and generate income to the trainees to improve their living conditions.
During the signing ceremony, Momani stressed the NCET’s readiness to harness all its capabilities to train and qualify the ESARSV’s veterans to enter the labor market.
For his part, Thiabat described the training project a “pioneering” idea, which is line with His Majesty King Abdullah II’s directives, and vision aimed to train and employ the Kingdom’s youth.
