A military helicopter crashed late Tuesday in Gabes governorate in south-eastern Tunisia, killing three soldiers.

The state new agency quoted a spokesperson of the Tunisian Ministry of Defense as saying that the incident happened during a military exercise at night.

A military technical team was sent to the scene to determine the causes of the crash, it added.
