Mafraq sees two Covid-19 cases, says governor

Governor of Mafraq, Yasser Adwan, announced on Sunday, that two new Covid-19 cases were recorded to contacts of an infected person in the northern governorate.


After an infection was recorded to a worker at the Jaber Border Crossing center on Saturday, who is currently being treated at Prince Hamzah Hospital, the medical teams isolated the patient’s home and the neighboring homes and administered Covid-19 contacts’ tests, Adwan told “Petra.”


After the results emerged, the infected person’s two brothers tested positive, he said, adding the two new patients were transferred to the designated Dead Sea quarantine area.
