Labor Minister meets Arab counterparts in Cairo

Labor Minister Nayef Stetieh on Monday met with his Egyptian counterpart Hassan Shehata on the sidelines Arab Labor Conference currently held in Cairo.

The meeting covered cooperation in labor affairs between Jordan and Egypt, according to a ministry statement.

Stetieh also met with Libyan Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation Ali Al-Abed Al-Ridha, and discussed leveraging Jordanian expertise, allowing Jordanians to work in Libya, and training trainers from Libya in Jordan.

Stetieh held another meeting with Moroccan Minister of Economic Integration, Small Enterprises, Employment and Competencies, Younes Skouri, and discussed mechanisms of joint cooperation between the two countries, and establishing a vocational training center with the support of the Kingdom of Morocco.

The Minister of Labor also held a meeting with Lebanese Minister of Labor, Mustafa Bayram, and discussed means of cooperation between the two countries.
