Kuwait reports152 new coronavirus cases

Amman, Some 152 new cases of the novel coronavirus have been recorded in Kuwait in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the Gulf Arab state to 3,440 cases, according to the Health Ministry.

Spokesman Abdullah Al Sanad also said that one COVID-19 patient died, raising the death toll from the pandemic to 23.

The Kuwaiti News Agency, quoting Al Sanad, said that the number of recovered cases topped 1,176 after Health Minister Basel Al Sabah announced this morning that 164 new cases have recovered in the last 24 hours.

He said that a total of 2,241 cases are still receiving medical care, including 67 in intensive care units with 37 in stable condition and 30 in critical condition.
