King departs for Saudi Arabia, heads Jordan’s delegation to OIC summit in Istanbul
Amman–His Majesty King Abdullah II, accompanied by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Hussein, left Amman on Tuesday heading for Saudi Arabia, on an official visit during which the King will hold talks with Saudi King Salman Bin Abdul Azizi Al Saud.
Following his visit to Saudi Arabia, the King will depart for Turkey where he will lead Jordan’s delegation to the extraordinary summit meeting of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) which will be held in Istanbul tomorrow to discuss developments related to Jerusalem after the US decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and move the US embassy to the city.
His Royal Highness Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein was sworn in as regent in the presence of cabinet members.
