KHIA expected to welcome 350K passengers by yearend

Aqaba, The Director of King Hussein International Airport (KHIA) in Aqaba, Nasser Majali, on Tuesday said that he expects the number of passengers travelling through the airport to hit 350,000 by the end of 2019 as Aqaba has become an important tourist destination for Arab and foreign tourists.

Majali said in an interview on Tuesday that the airport, after the rehabilitation and maintenance operations carried out by the Aqaba Development Company, has reached an advanced level in the services provided to travelers commensurate to the best services provided by modern airports of the world.

Majali spoke about the establishment of a business lounge at the airport recently designed to serve passengers and provide them with all the means of comfort and follow-up of their work easily.
