Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh Tuesday pledged support for the future “Himmetna” initiative projects aimed at developing the health sector and rehabilitating health centres.
In a celebration to honour the “strategic” partners who have supported in the rehabilitation of and equipping the oncology department at the Al Bashir Hospital which came at an estimated cost of JOD1.5 million.
The celebration, patronised by Khasawneh and organised by the “Himmetna” initiative, coincides with putting to operation the department that has started receiving patients. The department is equipped with 40 beds.
The premier highlighted the importance of the initiative and said its work goes in line with His Majesty King Abdullah II’s vision to offer citizens quality services and develop the health sector.
