Jordan’s Industrial Production Index (IPI) increased by 23.90 percent until the end of May 2021, amounting to 87.03 points, compared to 70.24 for the same period last year, according to Department of Statistics (DoS) figures.
The DoS, in its monthly report released Wednesday, indicated that Jordan’s IPI for May 2021 went up by 9.68 percent, to reach 90.61 points, compared to 82.61 for the same month last year.
According to the report, May 2021 industrial production soared by 2.73 percent, reaching 90.61 points, compared to 88.20 for the prior month.
