Jordan’s envoy to Italy presents credentials
Qais Abu Daieh, on Thursday, presented his credentials to the Italian president as ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the Italian Republic at a reception hosted by the Italian President Sergio Mattarella at the Quirinal Palace in Rome.
Abu Daieh conveyed His Majesty King Abdullah’s greetings to the Italian president and wishes of further prosperity and progress to the Italian people.
For his part, the president conveyed his best wishes to His Majesty and the Jordanian people, praising the advanced ties that bring together Rome and Amman.
He also voiced his deepest appreciation for His Majesty King Abdullah’s key role in preserving security and stability and promoting the values of brotherhood, tolerance and peace in the Middle East region and the world.
The president pointed to the Lamp of Peace award that was received by His Majesty King Abdullah in 2019, in recognition of his efforts to promote peace in the world.
