Jordanian-Mexican parliamentary friendship committee denounce Jerash attack

Amman, The Jordanian-Mexican Parliamentary Friendship Committee condemned in the strongest terms the criminal act against a number of foreign tourists in Jerash on Wednesday, including three Mexican citizens, one Swiss citizen and four Jordanians.

Head of the Lower House committee, MP Haitham Ziadeen, underscored the necessity to act firmly against those who try to undermine the Kingdom’s security and stability.

Zayadeen highlighted that Jordan enjoys distinguished relations with all countries, describing the nature of relations between Jordan and the countries of the tourist victims as “deep-rooted,” underlining at the same time that these criminal acts do not reflect the nature of Jordan’s hospitable people.
