Jordanian-Emirati Brotherhood Committee discuss bilateral ties

Amman- Jordanian-Emirati Brotherhood Committee at the Senate on Wednesday discussed bilateral ties with the Emirati ambassador here Mattar Al-Shamisi.

During the meeting, the committee’s chair, Senator Samir Abdul Hadi, lauded the bilateral relations as a model of distinguished pan-Arab cooperation and underscored the two countries’ keenness to foster them in the various domains.

He said Amman and Abu Dhabi share unanimous political stances towards diverse issues, and highlighted the Kingdom’s lucrative investment opportunities, and potentials to overcome relevant impediments as well.

The envoy, on his part, said the UAE investments in the Kingdom stood around $16billion and voiced his country’s keenness to launch fresh partnership horizons.

He also commended the key role of the Jordanian workforce to push the Gulf state’s development in the educational, health and technological spheres, adding the Kingdom’s manpower enjoys a priority at the UAE and a Jordanian can obtain a visa in less than 24 hours directly from the embassy.
