The First Vice President of Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC), Jamal Rifai, discussed on Wednesday, with Uganda Ambassador to Jordan, Isaac Biruma Sebulime, ways to develop the two countries’ economic relations and the role of the private sector in this regard.
Rifai pointed to the need to strengthen trade and service relations and joint cooperation, and benefit from Jordan as a “main” gateway to enter many neighboring markets.
Rifai also called for intensifying efforts and holding specialized meetings on the “promising” sectors, especially tourism, health, Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and foodstuffs.
The envoy, for his part, stressed the need to offer “feasible” proposals that contribute to advancing trade exchange and establishing joint investments, indicating that his country enjoys a “stable” investment environment.
