Jordan, Tunisia eye closer maritime cooperation

Tunisia’s government has ratified a draft bill approving an agreement on maritime cooperation with Jordan.

The protocol was signed during the joint Jordanian-Tunisian Higher Committee meeting convened in November 2017.

In the same context, another agreement was singed on ports cooperation and a memo on mutual recognition of certificates of marine workers.

The accord, which has to go to the Parliament for final endorsement, would boost exchange of expertise and training between the two countries.
