JORDAN SUPPORTS HOLDING EMERGENCY MEETING ON ISRAEL CRIMES AGAINST PALESTINIANS

CAIRO, Egypt, Jordan, on Monday, said, it supports holding an emergency meeting, by the council of Arab League, at the level of permanent representatives, to discuss the Israeli occupation’s crimes against the Palestinian people.

The meeting comes, at the request of Palestine and the support of Kuwait and Egypt, and will be held on Tuesday (today), at the Arab League headquarters, in Cairo.

“The meeting will discuss the crimes of Israel, the occupying power, against peaceful Palestinian demonstrators, who took part in a march entitled: “The Great Return March” on the occasion of the 42nd anniversary of the Land Day, on Friday, to demand the right of return, in addition to the continuous and dangerous action that Israel is pursuing, in the Palestinian territories,” Assistant Secretary-General for Palestine Affairs at the Arab League, Ambassador Said Abu Ali, said in a statement.

Abu Ali called for the entire international community and all its institutions, to take full responsibility, for putting an immediate end to the Israeli crimes, and urgently forming an investigation committee, to hold the occupation regime, accountable and provide international protection to the Palestinian people.
