Jordan sees no new Covid-19 cases on Wednesday-MoH

The Ministry of Health announced no new Covid-19 cases, whether locally transmitted or imported, were recorded in the Kingdom on Wednesday, maintaining the total caseload unchanged at 1169 cases.

Meanwhile, 8 patients have recovered in Prince Hamza Hospital, and 6530 laboratory tests were carried out, bringing the total count of tests processed since the start of the pandemic to 440,825, according to media statement issued by the Prime Ministry and the Ministry of Health.

To curb the virus spread, the Ministry stressed the need to adhere to preventive measures, wear masks, observe physical distancing rules, and use the “Aman” (“Safety”) application to alert users in the event of contacting an infected person, and contribute to detecting virus-related cases.

The government has also recently launched a new smart phone application called “Sehtak” (your health) that provides the latest pandemic-based news, the virus and other health information, the ministry pointed out.
