Jordan partakes in Bahrain expo for technology
Amman, The Information and Communications Technology Association (int@j) is organizing the first ever Jordanian pavilion at the Bahrain International Technology Exhibition (BITEX) on the sidelines of the Meet ICT Conference in Bahrain which is scheduled for March 19.
By organizing the Jordanian pavilion, int@j aims at boosting the local communications and information technology sector, implementing His Majesty King Abdullah’s vision to boost the capabilities capacities of the companies in the sector.
The Jordanian companies that will partake in BITEX are: OPTIMIZA, PST, MenaITech, SignCom, Secret, Globitel.
Chairman of int@j, Bashar Hawamdeh, said: “Setting up a Jordanian pavilion in the BITEX exhibition aims at bolstering cooperation between Jordanian and Bahraini companies working in this sector.”
The pavilion seeks to link Jordanian companies with their Bahraini and regional peers participating in the exhibition, as well as developers of the Bahraini electronic government to carry out joint projects, he added.
The exhibition will discuss the latest solutions, innovations, and products in several fields, including virtual reality and information security.
