Jordan field hospital starts operations in Beirut
A Jordanian field hospital dispatched to Beirut following the massive explosion that rocked the city a few days ago and left hundreds dead and thousands injured, began its operations on Monday.
The director of the hospital said that a medical and logistical team set up the clinic after arriving in the Lebanese capital to provide medical care to the injured in the blast, which killed some 200 people and wounded more than 6,000 others.
The 48-bed hospital, which includes 10 beds for intensive care and two operating theaters, is run by multidisciplinary medical and technical staff.
