Jordan eyes more Chinese investments, 1st, final add
For his part, the Chinese minister pointed to the strong relations between the two friendly countries, adding he met with a number of Chinese investors working in Jordan and was briefed on their successful investment experience in the Kingdom.
He said that during his visit to the Kingdom he sought to learn of the Jordanian experience in regulating the market, in regard to the areas of specifications, standards, competitiveness, consumer protection, monitoring and management of e-business, management of chambers of commerce and services provided to its employees.
The minister called on Jordanian companies operating in various fields, especially the leading companies and technology companies, to invest in China.
He pointed out 27 departments are under the supervision of the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) concerned with local economic activities, which have greatly improved the Chinese business environment over the past five years.
He noted the SAMR is working to attract foreign investments from various world countries through the introduction of laws and regulations conducive to foreign investment, improve the business environment, and spare time and effort on foreign and local investors.
