Jordan, Cypriot discuss economic cooperation

Amman, President of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce Nael Kabariti on Monday discussed with Cypriot Ambassador in Amman Andreas Kouzoupis ways of developing trade relations and expanding joint investments between the two countries.

Kabariti stressed that Jordan and Cyprus enjoy a “special friendship” that should be exploited and built on to serve the economic interests of both countries, calling for cooperation and the studying of challenges and problems that hinder the two-way economic cooperation.

Kouzoupis said his country seeks to advance its economic and trade relations with various countries to broader horizons and build partnerships based on cooperation and mutual trust.

He underlined the importance of encouraging investment and trade exchange between Jordan and Cypriot, especially in tourism, food manufacturing, construction materials, real estate development and pharmaceuticals.
