Amman, Following is a wrap-up of the latest COVID-19 developments and news in Jordan for May 8, 2020:

-Health Minister visits Mafraq, says 140 people had direct contact with infected truck driver.
-First phase of repatriation for Jordanians abroad concludes – says military official.
-Jordan registers 24 new COVID-19 cases today, says MoH.
-4 new COVID-19 cases recovered today, says MoH.
-Medical cadres conduct almost five thousand COVID-19 tests today, says MoH.
-COVID-19 caseload reaches 508 cases, says MoH.
-Jordanian truck drivers arriving at borders to be quarantined temporarily in military schools, says Adailah.
