Jordan confirms one new COVID-19 case, from abroad
Amman, One new coronavirus case from abroad was confirmed in Jordan, bringing the total number to 1,232 since the start of the crisis, according to a statement issued by the Prime Ministry and the Health Ministry.
The only case, the statement said, involved a Jordanian driver who tested positive at the Al Omari border crossing.
A total of 11 recovery cases were recorded today, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 1,161, the statement added.
The epidemiological investigation teams have conducted 6125 COVID-19 tests today, bringing the number of tests conducted since the beginning of the virus outbreak in Jordan to 628,745.
