Jordan condemns Kabul terrorist bombing

The Jordanian government on Saturday strongly condemned as “horrific” the terrorist bombing targeted central Kabul in Afghanistan, killing dozens of people and injuring hundreds.

“The recurring terrorist acts that target Afghanistan reflect the criminal mentality of the terrorists and their hideous inhuman acts, which aim to disrupt the political life and the security and stability of Afghanistan, which has been suffering for years from the evils of terrorism and terrorists,” said Mohammad Momani, State Minister for Media Affairs.

Momani, who is also the government spokesman, called for a closer national Afghan unity to counter terrorism, and a concerted international effort to eradicate terrorism.

He expressed the Jordanian government’s most sincere condolences to the government and people of Afghanistan and wished the injured speedy recovery.
