The foreign ministry Tuesday inveighed against the “repeated” Houthi militia attacks against Saudi Arabia, the latest of which targeted the Abha airport.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates reiterated its condemnation of the “cowardice” attack that left many civilians injured, emphasising these attacks run counter to the “humanitarian and higher principles,” and they constitute outright violation of international law.
The Ministry underscored Jordan’s solidarity with Saudi Arabia against all threats to its security and people, stressing the security of Jordan and Saudi is “part and parcel” and that a threat to the Gulf country is a threat to the region as a whole.
It hoped for a speedy recovery for the wounded.
