Joint naval INTREPID MAVEN 22 drill concludes activities

Activities of the joint naval exercise (INTREPID MAVEN 22) concluded on Thursday, which was carried out by the Jordanian 77th Marines Battalion, with the participation of 61st Commando Rapid Intervention Battalion of US Marine Corps Forces.

The exercise comes within the framework of consolidating and developing defensive combat capabilities and preparing professional personnel with a high degree of combat readiness to preserve maritime borders from possible threats, according to a Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) statement.

The exercise aimed at exchanging joint expertise in the planning and command areas and qualifying the troops on rapid operational response in a complex and multi-tasking environment, the statement added, adding that the participants demonstrated “a distinguished level and high efficiency” in carrying out their duties.
