Japan thanks Jordan for aid package amid COVID-19 crisis
The Japanese embassy in Amman lauded the Kingdom’s medical assistance package that was sent to Japan to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
In a press statement on Wednesday, the embassy said a part of the Jordanian medical assistance package had arrived at Narita Airport last Saturday. The package, which comes in response to the spread of the COVID-19, includes 10,000 pieces of protective gear, 10,000 protective goggles, and 300,000 face masks.
The statement said the medical assistance highlights the close bilateral collaboration in curbing the spread of the virus, adding that the Japanese government expressed appreciation to the Jordanian government.
