JAF will continue developing Jordanian football: Prince Ali

Amman, HRH Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein, President of the Jordan Football Association (JFA), said the JAF will continue the process of developing the Jordanian football to achieve excellence globally.

During an Iftar banquet attended by a group of sports journalists on Saturday, Prince Ali called for supporting the national team in its upcoming Asian and World Cup qualifiers in order to achieve the desired goal of reaching the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Prince Ali added that the JFA is determined to rearrange the association internally in the framework of improving Jordanian football at the level of national teams and clubs.

He expressed hope that everyone would support the Jordanian football which currently seeking to qualify for the Qatar World Cup.

He said that there is an opportunity for the national team to reach the 2022 World Cup, and the Football Association is seeking to reach the Women World Cup in 2023.

Prince Ali also congratulated the Al-Faisaly Football Club on winning the league title this season, wishing the club and the rest of the Jordanian clubs more progress and successes.

Prince Ali also spoke about issues facing the JFA and clubs especially in terms of funding, stressing that the association is looking for solutions to these issues in the future.
